Ashley is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Registered Nurse specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care and the founder of Lemon Lactation Consulting. Ashley has been a nurse since 2012 and has worked in various nursing areas but her passion has always been helping newborns and their families.
As a NICU nurse and IBCLC, Ashley is familiar in working with complex infants that require feeding tubes, specialty feeding devices, supplemental respiratory support, feeding intolerances, reflux, etc. Ashley recognizes that each infant and feeding parent dyad is unique and care is always individualized to meet the needs of the dyad.
Ashley is also a wife and mom to her two beautiful daughters. Breastfeeding her daughters inspired her to become an IBCLC as she knows that breastfeeding does not always come easy and finding breastfeeding support can be challenging.
